Presentations include topics such as the following or can be customized / developed to suit your event requirements.
      1. 'Demystifying Research'
        How can chiropractors and physiotherapists relate to and consume research in a way that is meaningful, rational, and impactful for their patients? Common misconceptions, barriers to dissemination, and research considerations specific to manual medicine are discussed.
      2. 'The Hip - A Central Factor in Numerous Musculoskeletal Syndromes'
        Covers recent research developments, differential diagnosis, practical assessment and treatment tools, and functional rehabilitation approaches.
      3. 'The Relationship Between the Thoracic Spine & Common Neck & Shoulder Conditions'
        Recent research is discussed linking treatment directed toward the thoracic region as an alternative or complementary approach for addressing neck and shoulder complaints. A logical blend of research integration and practical application.
      4. Management of Low Back Pain - A Contemporary Healthcare Crisis?
      5. Healthcare providers must seize the opportunity to excel and lead the way in caring for LBP for coming generations. We have the knowledge base now to have a meaningful and effective impact on patients with LBP. We simply must act.
      6. 'Staying Fit & Healthy as You Age'

      • Dr. Thistle requires at least 3 months notice if you want him to present one of the topics listed above.
      • Allow a minimum of 6 months if you require a specialized presentation developed for your event.
      • Shawn can suggest possible dates in his schedule if you have not already chosen and set up a date.
FEES (Canadian Dollars) negotiated depening on:
  • location
  • length of presentation
    • minimum 2 hours
    • 1 day (6 hours)
    • multi-day seminars
  • whether the presentation has to be specifically developed for your event or is to be one of the topics listed above
